BHU opens admission to BA LLB (Hons) courses

B.A. LL. B. (Hons) admission by the Faculty of Law for the academic session 2014-2015 is open at Banaras Hindu University.  Candidates have to go through BLAT entrance test. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online on the prescribed format on or before June 28, 2014.

Eligibility criteria

Applicant must have qualified Senior Secondary School (10+2) or equivalent (Such as 11+1, 'A' level in Senior School Leaving certificate course) from a recognised university in India or outside or from a Senior Secondary Board or equivalent constituted or recognized by the Union or by a state government or from any equivalent institution from a foreign country recognised by the government of that country for the purpose of issue of qualifying certificate on successful completion of the course.

Candidates should have obtained minimum marks obtained in qualifying examination for admission should not be less than 50 per cent of total marks in case of General category applicants; 45 per cent  in case of OBCs and 40 per cent in case of SC & ST applicants.

Application  Fee:
    For SC/ST: Rs 250 
    For Other: Rs. 500
